Upstash

Upstash develops serverless data platform for developers of data-intensive applications using a consumption-based pricing model. Put simply, it is about storing all your company data in one place built for analysis.

It makes the most sense for data teams. Alongside the main category they mention Cloud Data Services. As a very small product team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Upstash is based in San Jose, California. Their site is upstash.com.

Things worth asking about: compute pricing, connectors, and governance. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.

If you have worked with Upstash, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
