Rapid Flow Technologies spun out of Carnegie Mellon University with the goal of introducing new ITS. The job it does: connecting machines, sensors and robots to software that controls or monitors them.

It makes the most sense for manufacturers and operators. They also list Internet of Things and Transportation, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.
