AppSumo

AppSumo is a digital marketplace trusted by 1M+ entrepreneurs that discovers, buys, and sells the products to build lifestyle. The job it does: running campaigns, content and ads for clients who do not have an in-house team.

It makes the most sense for small and mid-sized businesses. They also list Digital Marketing, E-Commerce, Marketplace, Online Portals and Social Entrepreneurship, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

AppSumo is based in Austin, Texas and around since 2010. Their site is appsumo.com.

Before you commit, look at who does the work day to day, reporting cadence, and contract length. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
