Tombox

Tombox is a subscription box designed exclusively for women to indulge during a period. In practice that means designing and building iOS and Android apps.

Who is it for? Mostly businesses launching or rebuilding an app. They also list E-Commerce, Fashion, Lifestyle and Mobile Apps, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Tombox is based in Hicksville, New York and around since 2013. You can read more at tomboxes.com.

Before you commit, look at portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
