BookShout

BookShout is an e-book distribution and reading platform that provides content from publishers for bulk, promotional, and direct sales. Put simply, it is about designing and building iOS and Android apps.

The natural audience is businesses launching or rebuilding an app. Alongside the main category they mention Content, E-Commerce, EBooks, Publishing and Reading Apps. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

BookShout is based in Plano, Texas. You can read more at bookshout.com.

Before you commit, look at portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
