Kasten

Kasten is a software company that simplifies the operational management of stateful cloud-native applications for Kubernetes. The job it does: running websites, apps and data on servers you do not have to maintain.

The natural audience is developers and businesses of every size. Related areas on their profile: Cloud Infrastructure, Cloud Storage and Data Management. As a small product team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Kasten is based in Los Altos, California and around since 2017. You can read more at kasten.io.

Things worth asking about: pricing predictability, support quality, and migration help. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with Kasten, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
