Formation

Formation is a remote fellowship for ambitious software engineers looking to land the next step in their career. Put simply, it is about posting jobs, collecting applicants and moving them through interviews.

It makes the most sense for recruiters and hiring managers. They also list Education, Recruiting and Training, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Formation is based in San Francisco, California. More on formation.dev.

Before you commit, look at job board syndication, interview scheduling, and reporting. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
