WebOS

WebOS is a software platform that enables robot displays, digital cockpit systems and smart home displays for smart devices. The job it does: connecting machines, sensors and robots to software that controls or monitors them.

Who is it for? Mostly manufacturers and operators. They also list Electronics and Internet of Things, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a mid-sized product team themselves (201 to 500 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best.

WebOS is based in Santa Clara, California and around since 2009. More on webosose.org.

Things worth asking about: hardware compatibility, uptime, and support. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.

Every review on Revaw shows how it was verified, so if you know WebOS well, your review carries weight here.
