PhotoScape

PhotoScape provides photo editing software that supports image enhancement, batch editing, collage, and GIF creation. The job it does: building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

It makes the most sense for companies with a specific process to automate. They also list Open Source and Photo Editing, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

PhotoScape is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. You can read more at photoscape.org.

Before you commit, look at portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
