KyTek

Kytek Inc. offers XTensions for QuarkXPress and digital marketing services. The job it does: building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

Who is it for? Mostly companies with a specific process to automate. Related areas on their profile: Document Management and Document Preparation. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

KyTek is based in Weare, New Hampshire. More on kytek.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with KyTek, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
