Areance

Areance provides IoT assessments, management consulting, custom software deployment, and IoT security services. In practice that means managing your IT, from help desk to infrastructure, as an outside partner.

Who is it for? Mostly small and mid-sized companies. Alongside the main category they mention Hospitality and Management Consulting. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Areance is based in Alpharetta, Georgia and founded in 2016. Their site is areance.com.

Things worth asking about: response SLAs, onboarding, and what is billed per hour. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.

If you have worked with Areance, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
