Orbitist

Orbitist is a software development company that provides cloud-based mapping applications and data collection tools. In practice that means designing and building iOS and Android apps.

It makes the most sense for businesses launching or rebuilding an app. They also list Cloud Data Services, Data Collection and Labeling and Mapping Services, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Orbitist is based in Fredonia, New York. You can read more at orbitist.com.

Before you commit, look at portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.

If you have worked with Orbitist, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
