Lat-lon

Lat-Lon is a BSM company, provides wireless GPS tracking and telematic monitoring solutions for mobile assets. Put simply, it is about solving a specific business problem with software.

It makes the most sense for teams in its space. They also list GPS, Railroad and Transportation, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Lat-lon is based in Denver, Colorado. Their site is lat-lon.com.

Things worth asking about: pricing, support, and how it fits with the tools you already use. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with Lat-lon, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
