Convergent Library Technologies

Convergent Library Technologies provides technology solutions and offers product support and implementation services for libraries. The job it does: building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

Who is it for? Mostly companies with a specific process to automate. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Convergent Library Technologies is based in Ontario, California. Their site is clibtech.com.

Before you commit, look at portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
