POSmatic

POSmatic is a developer and distributor of POSmatic point of sales systems. Put simply, it is about managing your IT, from help desk to infrastructure, as an outside partner.

It makes the most sense for small and mid-sized companies. Alongside the main category they mention Information Services, Manufacturing and Point of Sale. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

POSmatic is based in Long Island City, New York. Their site is posmatic.com.

Before you commit, look at response SLAs, onboarding, and what is billed per hour. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.

If you have worked with POSmatic, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
