Earth Networks

Earth Networks operates weather observation and lightning networks in the U.S., Europe, and internationally. In practice that means collecting evidence and tracking controls for frameworks like SOC 2 or HIPAA.

Who is it for? Mostly companies that sell to larger customers. Alongside the main category they mention Analytics, Drones, Environmental Engineering, Information Services and Risk Management. They are a mid-sized team, 51 to 200 people, which usually shapes who they work with.

Earth Networks is based in Germantown, Maryland and around since 1993. More on earthnetworks.com.

Before you commit, look at frameworks covered, auditor network, and integrations. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.

If you have worked with Earth Networks, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
