Vertica Systems

Vertica Systems is an analytics platform that develops data management solutions for storing databases and conduct real-time queries. The job it does: moving data between systems on a schedule without hand-built scripts.

The natural audience is data and ops teams. Alongside the main category they mention Analytics, Data Management and Real Time. As a small product team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Vertica Systems is based in Billerica, Massachusetts and around since 2005. More on vertica.com.
