Akcme

AKCME offers services in the development of software products, project management, and budget management services. Put simply, it is about managing your IT, from help desk to infrastructure, as an outside partner.

Who is it for? Mostly small and mid-sized companies. They also list Consulting, IT Management and Project Management, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Akcme is based in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Their site is akcme.com.
