Privatext

Privatext enables users to send coded text, images, and personal information from smartphones. In practice that means replacing internal email with channels and direct messages.

The natural audience is every team. They also list Messaging, Photography, Privacy, Security and SMS, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Privatext is based in Aspen, Colorado. Their site is privatext.co.

Things worth asking about: search, retention policies, and external guest access. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.

If you have worked with Privatext, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
