Etch Software

Etch Software is a company that creates software systems that are special made for managing businesses online web presence. The job it does: scheduling posts, replying to comments and reporting across networks.

Who is it for? Mostly social and community managers. They also list Social Media, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Etch Software is based in Portland, Oregon. Their site is etchsoftware.com.

Things worth asking about: which networks are supported and whether approvals are built in. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
