Untame

Untame is a software company offering WordPress website creation, custom theme and plugin development, and BuddyPress design. The job it does: designing and building websites and web apps.

The natural audience is companies that need a site that works and ranks. Alongside the main category they mention Web Design and Web Development. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Untame is based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Their site is untame.net.

Our checklist for this category: portfolio, CMS choice, and who maintains it afterwards. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.

If you have worked with Untame, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
