Carbon Accountable

Carbon Accountable promotes carbon transparency with tools and guidance to measure, reduce, and report greenhouse gas emissions. Put simply, it is about delivering courses and tracking who completed what.

Who is it for? Mostly HR, training teams and educators. They also list Cloud Computing, Collaboration, Consulting, Corporate Training and Data Visualization, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a very small product team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Carbon Accountable is based in San Jose, California. You can read more at carbonaccountable.org.

Things worth asking about: content formats, quizzes, certificates, and reporting. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with Carbon Accountable, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
