Star Computer Supply

Star Computer Supply engaged in the distribution of computer hardware, software, licensing and supplies to SMBs and government agencies. In practice that means managing your IT, from help desk to infrastructure, as an outside partner.

It makes the most sense for small and mid-sized companies. They also list Electronics, Hardware, Retail and Supply Chain Management, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Star Computer Supply is based in Towson, Maryland. Their site is starcomputersupply.com.

Things worth asking about: response SLAs, onboarding, and what is billed per hour. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.
