Black Box Operations

Black Box Operations focuses on operational software development including web application development, R and D, and technical consulting. Put simply, it is about designing and building websites and web apps.

It makes the most sense for companies that need a site that works and ranks. They also list Operating Systems and Web Development, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Black Box Operations is based in Athens, Georgia. Their site is blackboxoperations.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio, CMS choice, and who maintains it afterwards. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
