Tumult

Tumult makes Hype, which is used for HTML5-based animations, infographics, app prototypes, ebook educational content, and games. Put simply, it is about designing and building websites and web apps.

It makes the most sense for companies that need a site that works and ranks. Alongside the main category they mention Web Development. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Tumult is based in San Francisco, California. More on tumult.com.
