Locix

Locix is an It firm that develops solutions to provide spatial and contextual awareness to buildings, homes, and connected devices. Put simply, it is about managing your IT, from help desk to infrastructure, as an outside partner.

The natural audience is small and mid-sized companies. They also list Analytics, Consumer Electronics and Sensor, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Locix is based in San Bruno, California. More on locix.com.

Before you commit, look at response SLAs, onboarding, and what is billed per hour. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
