SpecialCase

SpecialCase is a software development company that provides web development, mobile app development, UX/UI design, and QA/testing services. In practice that means designing and building iOS and Android apps.

Who is it for? Mostly businesses launching or rebuilding an app. Related areas on their profile: UX Design, Web Design and Web Development. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

SpecialCase is based in Louisville, Colorado. Their site is specialcase.net.

Things worth asking about: portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
