SAS R&D Scotland

SAS R&D Scotland is a custom software development company. SAS provides advanced business analytics and business intelligent software and services to enable companies to optimize their operations. In practice that means building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

The natural audience is companies with a specific process to automate. They also list Analytics, Data Governance, Data Management and Predictive Analytics, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

SAS R&D Scotland is based in Cary, North Carolina and around since 1976. Their site is sas.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.

The facts above come from public company records. The score will come from people like you. Used SAS R&D Scotland? Rate it.
