TileDB

TileDB is foundational software designed by scientists for scientific discovery. In practice that means moving data between systems on a schedule without hand-built scripts.

It makes the most sense for data and ops teams. They also list Analytics, Big Data and Data Storage, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a mid-sized team, 51 to 200 people, which usually shapes who they work with.

TileDB is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. You can read more at tiledb.com.

Things worth asking about: connector coverage, sync frequency, and row-based pricing. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.

If you have worked with TileDB, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
