NewHive

NewHive is a web platform and DIY self-publishing tool that encourages users to develop their creative expression. In practice that means running an online store from catalog to checkout.

The natural audience is retailers and brands. They also list E-Commerce, News, Photo Sharing and Web Design, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a very small product team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

NewHive is based in San Francisco, California. You can read more at newhive.com.

Our checklist for this category: transaction fees, themes, and app ecosystem. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.

If you have worked with NewHive, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
