Fierce Software

Fierce Software is a company that provides application development, data analytics, managed IT and cloud management solutions. In practice that means running websites, apps and data on servers you do not have to maintain.

The natural audience is developers and businesses of every size. They also list Analytics, Cloud Computing and Data Integration, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a small product team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Fierce Software is based in Herndon, Virginia. More on fiercesw.com.

Things worth asking about: pricing predictability, support quality, and migration help. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.
