Notion

Notion is a self-monitoring system that provides home-owners to be proactive in protecting their spaces, people, and possessions. The job it does: assessing, monitoring and responding to security threats on your behalf.

It makes the most sense for companies without a full security team. Related areas on their profile: Home Improvement, Internet of Things, Security, Smart Home and Wireless. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Notion is based in Denver, Colorado and founded in 2013. Their site is getnotion.com.

Our checklist for this category: response times, what is included in monitoring, and reporting. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.

If you have worked with Notion, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
