Athena AI

Athena is a personalized essay review assistant for busy IECs. Put simply, it is about doing multi-step work with AI, from drafting to taking actions in your tools.

The natural audience is teams automating knowledge work. They also list Generative AI, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Athena AI is based in Sunnyvale, California and founded in 2023. More on athenaco.ai.

Our checklist for this category: accuracy on your data, guardrails, and usage pricing. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with Athena AI, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
