CheetahDS

CheetahDS is an OLAP database engine that supports SQL and processes queries on graphics processing units. Put simply, it is about building shareable charts and KPI boards.

It makes the most sense for teams that report to someone. They also list Analytics, Big Data and Data Visualization, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

CheetahDS is based in Tampa, Florida. Their site is cheetahds.com.

Our checklist for this category: live data refresh, embedding, and sharing permissions. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with CheetahDS, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
