Tacit Knowledge

Tacit Knowledge is a Silicon Valley-based digital commerce consultancy that develops enterprise software to address extensive data problems. Put simply, it is about running an online store from catalog to checkout.

Who is it for? Mostly retailers and brands. They also list Consulting, E-Commerce and Retail, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a mid-sized product team themselves (51 to 200 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best.

Tacit Knowledge is based in San Francisco, California and founded in 1997. Their site is tacitknowledge.com.

Before you commit, look at transaction fees, themes, and app ecosystem. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.

If you have worked with Tacit Knowledge, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
