IT Retail

IT Retail Professional is a provider of Point of Sale (POS) solutions for independent grocers. In practice that means connecting machines, sensors and robots to software that controls or monitors them.

It makes the most sense for manufacturers and operators. Related areas on their profile: Point of Sale and Robotics. As a small product team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

IT Retail is based in Riverside, California and around since 1993. Their site is itretail.com.

Before you commit, look at hardware compatibility, uptime, and support. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
