Wintermute

Wintermute Corporation provides innovative technology solutions to address unique international securiity challenges. The job it does: assessing, monitoring and responding to security threats on your behalf.

The natural audience is companies without a full security team. Alongside the main category they mention Security. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Wintermute is based in Reston, Virginia and around since 2006. Their site is wintermute.com.

Before you commit, look at response times, what is included in monitoring, and reporting. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.

If you have worked with Wintermute, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
