Light DJ

Light DJ is application software that offers custom effects, LED lighting, music, and distributed embedded system solutions. Put simply, it is about designing and building iOS and Android apps.

The natural audience is businesses launching or rebuilding an app. They also list Digital Entertainment and Graphic Design, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Light DJ is based in Irvine, California. Their site is lightdjapp.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
