Ship Central

Ship Central provides software solution for business like inventory management, logistics, warehousing, and storage facility sector. The job it does: planning and tracking goods from supplier to customer.

The natural audience is manufacturers and distributors. They also list Logistics, Transportation and Warehousing, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a small product team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Ship Central is based in West Jordan, Utah. Their site is shipcentral.com.

Things worth asking about: supplier portals, forecasting, and ERP integration. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
