Insight

INSIGHT is a world leader in providing supply chain software and consulting services. In practice that means building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

Who is it for? Mostly companies with a specific process to automate. They also list Consulting, Logistics, Outsourcing, Risk Management and Supply Chain Management, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Insight is based in Manassas, Virginia and around since 1978. More on insight-mss.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.

If you have worked with Insight, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
