hOp

Hop is a community platform that helps neighbors communicate with each other. In practice that means designing and building iOS and Android apps.

Who is it for? Mostly businesses launching or rebuilding an app. Related areas on their profile: Communities, Mobile Apps, Property Management and Social Network. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

hOp is based in Austin, Texas. Their site is hop.life.

Things worth asking about: portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with hOp, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
