VMD

VMD is an IT and homeland defense services providing company. The job it does: assessing, monitoring and responding to security threats on your behalf.

Who is it for? Mostly companies without a full security team. Alongside the main category they mention Cyber Security and Service Industry. They are a mid-sized team, 201 to 500 people, which usually shapes who they work with.

VMD is based in Fairfax, Virginia and founded in 2002. You can read more at vmdcorp.com.

Things worth asking about: response times, what is included in monitoring, and reporting. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.

If you have worked with VMD, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
