Idea Elan

Idea Elan specializes in applications and products that enhance lab productivity and management. The job it does: designing and building iOS and Android apps.

It makes the most sense for businesses launching or rebuilding an app. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Idea Elan is based in Herndon, Virginia. Their site is ideaelan.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with Idea Elan, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
