Civinomics

Civinomics is a community-based web platform that provides crowdsourced solutions to local problems and fostering engagement. In practice that means building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

It makes the most sense for companies with a specific process to automate. Related areas on their profile: Crowdsourcing, GovTech and Politics. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Civinomics is based in Santa Cruz, California and around since 2011. Their site is civinomics.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

Every review on Revaw shows how it was verified, so if you know Civinomics well, your review carries weight here.
