Metarank

Open-source personalized ranking service. That is the short version of Metarank. Put simply, it is about managing your IT, from help desk to infrastructure, as an outside partner.

The natural audience is small and mid-sized companies. Alongside the main category they mention Machine Learning, Open Source and Personalization. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Metarank is based in Dover, Delaware. Their site is metarank.ai.

Things worth asking about: response SLAs, onboarding, and what is billed per hour. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with Metarank, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
