Datos Technologies

Datos Technologies provides data science, analytics consulting, custom software development, and analytics services. The job it does: building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

It makes the most sense for companies with a specific process to automate. They also list Analytics, Consulting and Software Engineering, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Datos Technologies is based in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Their site is datostechnologies.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.

If you have worked with Datos Technologies, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
