Sandhill Networks

Sandhill Networks is a technical staffing firm that provides talent to technology-based companies through its Referral program. The job it does: building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

It makes the most sense for companies with a specific process to automate. Related areas on their profile: DevOps and Mobile. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Sandhill Networks is based in Los Angeles, California. More on sandhillnet.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.
