Bluegrass Web Works

Bluegrass Web Works is a web hosting company that offers WordPress VPS hosting, data centers, and security services. The job it does: assessing, monitoring and responding to security threats on your behalf.

The natural audience is companies without a full security team. They also list Data Center, Security and Web Hosting, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Bluegrass Web Works is based in Louisville, Kentucky. You can read more at bluegrasswebworks.com.

Things worth asking about: response times, what is included in monitoring, and reporting. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
