Embanet

Embanet offers online program design and development as well as technology support services for post-secondary educational institutions. In practice that means managing your IT, from help desk to infrastructure, as an outside partner.

The natural audience is small and mid-sized companies. Related areas on their profile: Consulting, EdTech and Education. They are a large team, 501 to 1,000 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Bigger vendor, more process. Budget time for procurement.

Embanet is based in Elk Grove Village, Illinois and around since 1995. Their site is embanet.com.

Things worth asking about: response SLAs, onboarding, and what is billed per hour. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
