Tyan Computer

Tyan Computer designs, manufactures, and markets advanced server, workstation, and desktop systems and platforms. In practice that means solving a specific business problem with software.

It makes the most sense for teams in its space. Alongside the main category they mention Electronics, Hardware and Manufacturing. As a large product team themselves (501 to 1,000 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. At that size expect formal onboarding, documentation and a longer sales cycle.

Tyan Computer is based in Fremont, California and around since 1989. More on tyan.com.

Things worth asking about: pricing, support, and how it fits with the tools you already use. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.

If you have worked with Tyan Computer, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
